Digital Safety Workshops
June 2026
Operation Love Global hosted a successful Teen Digital Safety Workshop, bringing together young people for an important conversation about navigating today’s online world safely.
Throughout the session, the teens were engaged, attentive, and actively participated in discussions and activities. It was encouraging to see their willingness to learn and their understanding of the urgency and seriousness of digital safety issues affecting youth today.
Participants explored topics such as online risks, exploitation tactics, healthy digital habits, and ways to recognize and respond to concerning situations. More importantly, they left equipped with practical tools and strategies to help them make informed decisions and navigate the digital world with greater confidence and awareness.
Thank you to everyone who made this workshop possible. Together, we are equipping the next generation to stay safe, informed, and empowered online.
Poway Spring Festival
May 2026
We had the opportunity to educate community members about human trafficking prevention and the importance of keeping youth safe from exploitation. Throughout the event, we shared practical information about recognizing warning signs, protecting vulnerable individuals, and how education plays a critical role in prevention.
The festival resulted in several meaningful connections, including 15 individuals interested in Digital Safety Workshops. We also connected with local Scouts to explore providing Digital Safety Workshops for their youth programs and began discussions with Neighborhood Healthcare about partnering with physicians who provide free tattoo removal for survivors of trafficking. In addition, the event generated $522 to support our mission and provided opportunities to hear personal stories from two women who shared their past experiences with exploitation, reinforcing the importance of our work to prevent exploitation and support survivors.
